Introduction
Magnesium sulfate typically exists as a heptahydrate (Epsom salt) or in an anhydrous form. The anhydrous form is a white powder that easily absorbs water; the heptahydrate forms colorless, fine needle-like crystals. Chemical properties are relatively stable. Its aqueous solution is neutral. It can undergo double decomposition reactions with other electrolytes; heating to high temperatures completely dehydrates it to the anhydrous form, and continued extreme heat will decompose it, releasing sulfur dioxide.

Applications
- Agriculture: Important secondary nutrient fertilizer, providing magnesium and sulfur to plants and promoting chlorophyll synthesis.
- Pharmaceuticals: Used as a laxative and antispasmodic; external soaking can reduce swelling and relieve pain.
- Building Materials & Chemicals: Used to make magnesium oxychloride cement; acts as a coagulant in ABS resin production; the anhydrous form is commonly used as a desiccant.
Storage Requirements
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Anhydrous magnesium sulfate is extremely prone to absorbing moisture and caking, so it must be kept tightly sealed. Prevent packaging damage and rain exposure.
Handling and Precautions
The product is non-toxic. Avoid tearing the packaging during handling, which could lead to spills or moisture absorption. Prolonged contact with concentrated solutions may cause skin dryness; wearing standard gloves is recommended.
Formula
Water-Soluble Foliar Fertilizer: Magnesium Sulfate (40%) + Urea (30%) + Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate (30%).
Function: Magnesium sulfate provides highly soluble magnesium ions in the formula. Through foliar spraying, it is directly absorbed by the crops, rapidly resolving the issue of yellowing leaves (magnesium deficiency) and enhancing photosynthesis efficiency.
Packaging
